Illness Exclusions

Exclusion Procedure for Illness:

These are the exclusion guidelines that we follow. Families are advised that it is best not to send in a child who is unwell in any way to ensure the health and well-being of other children and practitioners in the setting.

Please note we can only administer medication prescribed by a doctor in the original containers, clearly showing the date, child's name, and dosage. This applies after 48 hours from your child starting the antibiotic course. Please speak to a member of our team and a medication form will be sent via the FAMLY app and will need acknowledgement from parents before we can administer.

If your child needs Calpol or any other over-the-counter medicine to manage the day, it may be better for them to stay at home rather than attend nursery.
